About TouchStone
TouchStone is a distributed canvassing platform built around quality control and ease of use, and we use it on our own campaigns first.
A touchstone tests what’s genuine
A touchstone is the stone assayers used to test gold: rub the metal across it and the streak shows what’s real. We do the same job for field data — verification is the product.
TouchStone Technologies was founded in 2025 and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Powered by Partnership
TouchStone Technologies is an independent company, built in deep partnership with Progressive Turnout Project (opens in new tab) and dedicated to advancing the progressive voter contact movement through door-to-door canvassing, voter registration, and signature gathering.
Grassroots-Funded Scale
Progressive Turnout Project is the largest grassroots-funded voter contact organization in the country. Building at that scale is what lets the platform handle programs of any size, and what their organizers learn in the field shapes what we build next.
Built by organizers who got tired of tools that couldn't keep up with the field.
